Contest Entry: Xenovora

My entry for 's contest, Xenovora. Shown here on Tartarus, with a human and a few biomechs for scale. He's about 84 feet tall.

-Fast, flexible, and agile. Xenovora is an excellent climber, using his long arms, prehensile tails, and anchor-spike feet to scale cliff faces and swing from rock formations.

-Has an excellent sense of smell, thanks to his eight nostrils. (four on snout, two on each shoulder)

-Pit sensors, similar to those on an Earth viper, allow Xenovora to detect thermal energy.

-The bulbous knobs on Xenovora's head act like primitive eyes. Though unable to truly see, they pick up changes in light, allowing Xenovora to tell the difference between day and night.

-The blade-like spikes on Xenovora's wrists can extend outward, allowing him to better anchor himself to surfaces. Also used as deadly stabbing weapons.

-Xenovora can spit a projectile stream of viscous green liquid from his mouth. This substance is a highly corrosive acid, produced from glands in his throat.

-Much of Xenovora's body is covered in a thick, flexible armor that is superficially similar to an insect's exoskeleton. This protects him from many attacks, repelling gun fire with ease.
