Biography: While Korugor has sometimes been called the black sheep of the family, no guardian monster holds greater infamy than Terrakhan- a kaiju who many refuse to acknowledge as a member of the alliance.
Unlike the other monsters protecting humanity, Terrakhan was once a murderer. Lurking outside the boundaries of civilization, he devoured small towns and preyed upon passing travelers. Said to kill more out of pleasure than hunger, he wiped out entire towns and villages and was credited with the deaths of thousands. For nearly three decades, there was no name more terrifying than Terrakhan’s.
Thus, it is no great surprise that the citizens of Allinos were horrified when he began to advance on their city shortly after the formation of the alliance. Terrakhan made short work of the city’s mechanical defenses before being headed off by Theraga- at which point he suddenly and mysteriously stopped his attack.
Since then, Terrakhan has shown a drastic change in behavior- so drastic, in fact, that Caitlyn has attempted to form a mind-link with him. So far she has been unsuccessful; the giant carnivore appears to have some understanding of her thoughts, but not vice-versa. Likewise, he rarely complies with her requests- whether out of spite or misunderstanding, she cannot tell.
Regardless, Terrakhan has ceased his aggressive behavior entirely and has not threatened a human life since. He has shown a willingness to defend the other guardian monsters, especially Theraga, and has actually proven to be quite peaceful. While it is very difficult not to feel uneasy in his presence, Caitlyn and the team have agreed that he (for the time being, at least) is on their side.
Serving as an unconventional ninth member, Terrakhan brings the element of surprise to the group. By producing a steady hum of infrasound, he is able to loosen the soil around him and literally swim through the ground. Moving quickly and relatively quietly, he is able to stalk and ambush from below. He can cause sudden ditches, sinkholes and quakes with his movements, trapping and slowing down his land-based enemies. He is also able to burst from the soil and seize monsters with his powerful jaws- dragging them to a dark, subterranean death.
While mainly a land dwelling creature, Terrakhan is also an adept swimmer. He has no qualms with saltwater, and occasionally lends assistance to Paguron at sea. Likewise, he can be crucial when fighting aquatic monsters further inland.
He is aided in combat by the thick, overlapping plates that cover his body. Doubling as both armor and weaponry, they protect Terrakhan from harm while providing his tail with a plethora of blades and jagged edges to strike foes with. Though his intentions are unclear, there is no arguing his usefulness to the team.

Trivia: Terrakhan has a second set of eyelids that allow him to see while burrowing, and can also shut his nostrils to keep dirt out. Still, well-suited for digging as he is, he can only move through soil. He is incapable of burrowing through stone, and thus must crawl above ground when terrain gets rocky and mountainous.
