Description

  • Adventure Mode has been revamped to increase replayability and reduce time spent grinding. The story remains 10 consecutive levels long with 3 boss encounters, but players will now be presented with branching paths that allow them to experience different fights with every playthrough. Each time they advance they will be presented with three paths, which then branch out again to three more each. Depending on which path the player ends up on at the end of the bracket, they could encounter one of two different bosses. This creates a total of 5 bosses and 42 different levels, greatly expanding Adventure Mode's variety and overall content without having to extend the actual length of each playthrough (a must considering the roster's been tripled!).

------------------------------------------------

Level 1
, Townesville. The game opens with a crowded drive-in theater showing a creature feature. The "movie" is black and white gameplay footage of the military fighting whichever monster player one has selected. Something blocks the projector, causing the audience to complain and the camera to suddenly pan back, revealing Zorgulon hunched over the concession stand. The monster in the movie roars and Zorgulon draws his raygun, disintegrating the screen and causing an uproar. Outside the city, the real player-selected monster lifts its head above the tree line, riled by the commotion.

The player must defeat Zorgulon.

Level 2A, Gambler's Gulch. A suspicious surge of energy travels through one of the power lines as the player's monster enters the city. Neon lights begin to flicker and explode as animate electricity races up the street, jumping from one building to the next. One of the bursting lights sends out a bolt that materializes into Kineticlops, who wails and challenges the player.

The player must defeat Kineticlops. After doing so, another cinematic will play showing him becoming unstable and jumping back into the power lines. The surge splits apart and three smaller, faster Kineticlops burst out and surround the player. They must all be defeated.

Level 2B, Midtown Park. A squadron of military helicopters prowls the city, trying to catch a fast-moving creature in their spotlights. It leaps around in the shadows and outmaneuvers them, unleashing a powerful sonic roar that devastates the whole group. One of the copter crashes at the player monster's feet, prompting a surprised reaction. More spotlights turn on from above, revealing Congar standing in an alley. He flinches and roars, angrily beating his chest.

The player must defeat Congar. Hostile helicopters and tanks will also occupy the level.

Level 2C, Club Caldera. An ominous shadow passes over a cruise ship as it blows its horn and heads towards shore. The camera shifts to the perspective of something flying above it and zooms in before a pair of talons seize the ship and lift it out of frame. The player's monster wanders obliviously through the city before the ship suddenly falls from the sky, catching them off guard and blocking their path. Kaw lands behind the player and shrieks, cornering them.

The player must defeat Kaw. The cruise ship will spawn out of the water in the spot where it was dropped, but will still be in one piece and must be destroyed before being grab-able by the player.

Level 3A-1, La Phare. The camera pans across the city, focusing on some of the numerous stone gargoyles. One extremely large one appears to be at the top of the tower, though its wings are folded up around its body. The camera moves behind it, showing the player-selected monster approaching in the street below. The "gargoyle's" wings slowly unfurl, and a moment later Valtoth drops and lands on his feet in front of the player, roaring a challenge.

The player must defeat Valtoth. Hostile helicopters also occupy the level.

Level 3A-2, Powder Valley. A peaceful day at the ski resort is interrupted by the appearance of the player-selected monster. The sounds of sirens and screams fill the air, agitating a second, unseen creature high in the mountains. It moves swiftly from one ledge to the next, always staying just out of sight. The player's monster stops to investigate the chairlift but is accosted by a furious scream. The camera pans up to reveal a shadowy figure with glowing blue eyes watching from above. It roars again and pounds the ground, doing a close-range special and crumbling the slope.

The player must defeat Congar (2nd skin). As the fight begins, the area's avalanche will immediately trigger.

Level 3A-3, Club Caldera. Cars busily drive around in the city before coming to an abrupt halt when a tremor rocks the island. A few seconds of calm follow, but another, fiercer tremor strikes and the volcano begins to erupt. People flee in fear as fireballs descend on the city and Magmo rises up from the crater. The camera zooms out to reveal the player-selected monster standing in the bay and roaring.

The player must defeat Magmo.

Level 3B-1, Rosdale Canyon. The player's monster marches through the desert and comes across Rosdale Canyon, where a platoon of military vehicles are hauling downed UFOs toward Outpost X. A helicopter circles by and reports the monster's appearance, prompting more to fly in and all of the tanks and missile launchers to turn around. The player monster jumps down into the valley and roars fearlessly before the sound of giant engines draws their attention. Colossus flies over the canyon in his aerial form and transforms, dropping from the sky and landing on his feet to tower over the other monster.

The player must defeat Colossus. Hostile helicopters, tanks, and missile launchers will also occupy the level.

Level 3B-2, Westland Row. A violent storm rages across the city as a giant figure runs through the shadows, flinching from thunder cracks and seeking refuge from the rain. The player's monster marches past, drenched and unaware. A bolt of lightning illuminates the alley behind it, showing Ulfric cowering in the dark. He snarls and runs off, following.

The player must defeat Ulfric. After doing so, another cinematic will play showing him falling to his knees and transforming. The player must then defeat Ulfric again in his wolf form, which he will permanently stay in for the rest of the fight.

Level 3B-3, Volcano. A pair of screeching, winged creatures rush out of the volcano's crater as the player-selected monster arrives. Raptros and Kaw soar into the sky, violently swooping at each other and shooting projectiles. They clash in the air several times, then land on opposite ends of the crater to shriek at each other. The player's monster chimes in and both combatants turn their heads.

The player must defeat both Raptros and Kaw.

Level 3C-1, Tsunopolis. The level's resident giant UFO hovers down from the clouds, escorted by a swarm of smaller ships that begin firing lasers at buildings and cars. A battalion of tanks rolls up to the coast to fight back but is quickly decimated, leaving the saucers to wreak havoc. Farther off, a scaly back rises from the surf and rushes toward land. The camera switches back to the UFOs, who's rampage is abruptly cut short by a barrage of green energy blasts. One saucer survives the attack, but whirls around just in time to be sent flying by a spiked tail. It soars through the air and explodes against the side of a skyscraper, revealing the shocked player-selected monster nearby. The camera then pans around to show more UFOs flying down and Togera standing with one arm blade out, looking over her shoulder at the player.

The player must defeat Togera. Hostile UFOs will also occupy the level.

Level 3C-2, Baytown. Ultra V leaps up from behind a building and lands on the roof of a skyscraper, posing dramatically with his energy sword. The foot of the player's monster stomps into the foreground and the camera shifts to them roaring defiantly in the bay.

The player must defeat Ultra V. After doing so, a cinematic will play showing him staggering back and drawing his sword in retaliation. Before he can mount a counterattack, a set of claws burst out from his chest and lift him off his feet. Kyuma casts him aside with a maniacal laugh and must be defeated next.

Level 3C-3, Zayah Playa. The sun shines brightly as people frolic on the sand and boats and planes pass in the background. Unbeknownst to them, the ocean is bubbling and surging in the distance. A reptilian head suspended on a long, serpentine neck erupts from the surf and roars, scattering beach-goers. The player's monster stomps into frame and roars at the menacing sea beast.

The player must defeat Melkeor. Hostile jets also occupy the level.

BOSS 1A: THE TROUBLE WITH TROGULS! Walking through Tsunopolis, the player's monster notices strange phenomena like flickering lights and falling signs. It stops to investigate, but is caught off guard when Ultra V suddenly leaps into the street and brandishes his sword.

The player must defeat Ultra V. After doing so, a cutscene will play showing him staggering back and malfunctioning. The whole city seems to go haywire around him with lights flashing chaotically, power transformers exploding, and windows shattering. The camera pans up to reveal the bay's giant UFO losing control as well, wobbling and sparking before it falls from the sky. Ultra V turns his head as its gargantuan shadow envelops him, and a moment later is crushed as it slams into the ground. The player's monster reels in surprise, then notices several pairs of glowing eyes staring through the smoke. A horde of small, chittering opponents reveals itself as fin-eared monsters crawl out from behind the UFO and buildings all over the city. They are the Troguls, one of the game's first boss encounters.

BOSS 1B: MIGHTY WARSHIP SENTOU I! A battalion of tanks retreats amongst roars and explosions in Baytown East as the player's monster approaches from offscreen. It stomps into view and performs one of its taunts before smashing the last tank and casually moving on, unaware that a distant squadron is racing in from behind. The camera shifts to a bird's eye view as a massive flying vehicle, the transforming warship Sentou I, homes in on the player's monster with an escort of jets. A flurry of missiles catch the monster off guard and surround it with explosions, prompting it to turn and see the approaching ship. The player must defeat the Sentou I, one of the game's first boss encounters. Hostile tanks and jets will also occupy the level.

Level 4A, Futuria. A camera drone flies past skyscrapers and the monorail track as it homes in on the player's monster stomping in the background. The monster roars and looks around, surrounded by drones, as security footage of the rampage comes on to the giant TV above. Indecipherable radio commands fill the air, prompting a Robo-47 unit (costume 4) to jump down into the area and point at the monster. They roar back a challenge, only to be startled as a second unit leaps down behind it. The robots pose threateningly in unison and repeat the garbled command.

The player must defeat both Robo-47s.

Level 4B, Midtown Park. Agamo slowly marches through the city, flattening everything in his path and paying no mind to the searchlights and machine guns pointed his way. The helicopters make way as a squadron of jets race in to bombard him with missiles, but he walks through the attack unfazed. He points a stone fist and growls as the player's monster lumbers his way.

The player must defeat Agamo. Hostile helicopters, jets, and tanks will also occupy the level.

Level 4C, Metro City. A clawed, insectoid foot lands in the city street, prompting the camera to look up to a low angle shot of Preytor. The giant bug shrieks and clangs its claws together, looking utterly mammoth, and spreads its wings to fly. Before it can take off, an even larger monster leaps from offscreen and grabs it in its jaws. Rachnon, revealed to actually be normal size, feeds messily on the baby mantis, then lumbers across the street toward a mass of glowing eggs. One of them splits and oozes, ready to hatch, as the giant spider slowly creeps over it and waits. Just as the baby emerges, Rachnon pounces and immediately gets batted offscreen. The real, full-grown Preytor scrambles over the top of a building and shrieks, tossing aside the girder in her grasp and flying toward Rachnon. The baby mantis looks around curiously, brushes off an antennae, and flies away as the player's monster enters the scene. Preytor and Rachnon battle in the background, oblivious to the intruder.

The player must defeat both Preytor and Rachnon.

Level 5A-1, Blackwater. A speedboat zooms across the water, followed a few seconds later by an ominous shark fin. A bird's eye view shows the boat weaving wildly around islands and other obstacles as the aquatic monster gains on them. Just as it's almost caught up, however, the fin slowly slips beneath the surface. The boat slows down and turns around, puzzled by the shark's disappearance. Without warning, a long-necked monster bursts out of the water behind them, towering over the vessel and roaring. Melkeor strikes before the boat can take off again, crushing it in his jaws and shaking it to bits. The enraged shark creature Karkaros leaps from out of the water and tackles him, pulling both monsters biting and clawing underwater. They surface repeatedly in different spots, locked in mortal combat and sending tidal waves crashing over the islands. They finally disappear beneath the surface, leaving an uneasy stillness in the bog. The player's monster hesitantly steps into frame and looks around, waist-deep in water.

The player must defeat both Melkeor and Karkaros.

Level 5A-2, The Lost Land. A rock wall shudders repeatedly before being broken down by the player's monster. They lumber cautiously into the next room, a vast subterranean chamber lit by glowing fungi. Seeing no enemies to oppose them, they wander through the forest of mushrooms unaware that they're already being watched. Strange noises and glimpses of movement begin to alert the monster, until finally they stop to look around. As they do, a pair of eyes opens up on one of the mushrooms and Morcogg uproots itself. Two more come to life and slowly inch toward the intruder, surrounding them.

The player must defeat all three Morcoggs.

Level 5A-3, Happy Land. People on the ferris wheel scream in terror as a dark shape floats by overhead, alerting the player controlled monster nearby. The triphibian monster Amphibios glides into the park and lands on top of the haunted house, licking his lips and shrieking before leaping back into the sky. As the player's monster turns their head to keep track, a building in the background explodes and another challenger rushes in. Slogg gurgles and oozes carelessly over the crowd as Amphibios gracefully lands behind the player.

The player must defeat both Amphibios and Slogg.

Level 5B-1, Volcano. Already locked in battle again, the fiery rivals Magmo and Agamo wrestle across the island as they violently battle for supremacy. The volcano shudders and smokes as they hurl each other about and destroy everything that gets in their way. The raging battle sends a stray piece of rubble flying out to sea, only to be caught by the player monster, who growls and marches toward them.

The player must battle both Magmo and Agamo. Depending on which is defeated first, a different cutscene will play.

If Agamo is defeated first, a cutscene will play showing him wobbling and falling to pieces. The player's monster stays on guard as Magmo reaches into the pile of rubble and retrieves Agamo's head, lifting it to the sky and roaring as he beats his chest with his second set of arms. As Magmo celebrates, the flames inside the head slowly rekindle and Agamo's laugh can be heard. The monsters realize what's happening but are too late to stop it; the disembodied head explodes, sending both of them flying through the air. Magmo and the player's health will be lowered (or raised) to an even 50% and both will spawn on fire and at opposite sides of the volcano. Agamo's body will have left additional boulders behind.

If Magmo is defeated first, a cutscene will play showing him clutching his chest and staggering back toward the edge of the volcano. Rushing in for the kill, Agamo tackles him and both monsters fall into the volcano. The island shudders and smokes as it erupts, leaving the player's monster victorious and roaring at the massive plume of flame. They turn to wade back into the sea, but are stopped at the sound of Magmo's angry snarl. The elemental monster climbs unscathed from the lava (now in his 2nd costume) and gives an earth-shaking roar. Magmo's health will be fully restored and the full volcanic eruption will be triggered for the remainder of the fight.

Level 5B-2, Century Airfield. Preytor soars by as Robo-47 stands on the runway and trails her with machine gun fire. She lands on the side of a control tower and taunts him, waving a claw and wiggling her abdomen. The angry machine hunches over and launches a nuke, scaring her back into the air and obliterating the structure in an atomic fireball. The flying insect circles the island, screeching as she spots the player controlled monster wading onto shore. Robo-47 spins around and takes notice as well, clanging his claws and readying for battle as Preytor lands on another tower nearby.

The player must defeat Robo-47 and Preytor.

Level 5B-3, Westland Row. A gargantuan, two-headed shadow looms over a boat as it passes through the channel, but an attack never comes. The camera turns to reveal that the monster, Dualag, is nothing more than a statue, locked in stone with birds nesting calmly on his heads. Adnia slithers up beside him and caresses the ogre's stone arm, hissing proudly and reveling in her victory. The camera's focus shifts from the foreground to the background, clearly showing the player's monster standing on the bridge behind her. They lean in and roar, catching her off guard and causing her to spin around, frill open and eyes aglow. Instantly the monster is turned to stone, and Adnia, fuming, pulls out her bow and moves in.

The player must defeat Adnia and will start the match already petrified. Dualag can also be targeted, but is permanently petrified and cannot be harmed, healed, or picked up. Once Adnia is defeated, a cutscene will play showing Dualag shaking and bursting free from his imprisonment. The player must defeat him next.

Level 5C-1, Lemuria. The camera slowly closes in on an overhead view of the lost city of Lemuria, partially destroyed, as Cragoth stands in its center, looking around for an unseen foe. He growls and steps forward, raking his claws through the dirt and scanning the area. Behind him, a hideous tentacle abruptly bursts from the ground and grabs his drill arm, trying to drag him under. Cragoth roars, unable to pull free, and spins the drill to repel the attack. Rabdis bellows in pain and leaps into view, knocking Cragoth to the ground and beginning a destructive battle. As the two tumble around, the player's monster emerge's from the worm hole and looks around, bewildered.

The player must defeat both Cragoth and Rabdis.

Level 5C-2, The Valley of Dread. Pterodactyls scatter into the air as a distant volcano erupts and the camera pans down to show The Valley of Dread. Out of nowhere a huge lizard flies by as the player's monster roars and throws a Teidon from offscreen. They charge into frame, waist deep in trees and taunting, as the reptile gets to its feet and roars. A second Teidon rises up from the swamp and a third crawls over the sacrificial alter, hissing and flickering its tongue.

The player must defeat all three Teidons (costumes 1, 5, and 3).

Level 5C-3, Evil Island. Warning sirens blare as the player's monster emerges from the sea and wades onto the island. Turrets hidden in the foliage swivel around to aim at them as two giant, metal pods raise from underground. The monster steps closer, curious, but reels back as they suddenly crack open and leak steam. Medulla and Kineticlops (costume 4) step out of the pods and pose, wailing at the invader.

The player must defeat both Medulla and Kineticlops. The island's defenses will only target the player.

BOSS 2A: IT CHANGES! The player's monster stands around casually in front of the tower in La Phare, holding a tank in its hand and looking the helpless vehicle over half-bored. A shooting star races through the sky behind them and crashes into the ground offscreen, shaking the whole city and causing them to drop the tank. Wandering off to investigate, the monster sees a steaming, streamlined capsule stuck into the ground. It splits open and an amorphous blob, Oobloth the Indescribable, spills out and oozes toward the player. He is one of the game's second boss encounters.

BOSS 2B: DEEP BLUE DEATH! The sun shines brightly as the camera pans down and shows the player's monster, standing warily on an island surrounded by circling  fins. The monster roars and sends them diving beneath the waves, but a few seconds later the ocean marauders leap out and surround them.

The player must defeat all three Karkaros.

Once they have, a cutscene will play showing the island shaking. A series of smaller islands rises up around them in a ring formation, followed by a pair of long eyes on stalks. A colossal monster, Decatun, gurgles and hisses as the player stands on his sand-covered back. He is one of the game's second boss encounters.

Level 6A, Rosdale Canyon. The sun glares down on a battalion of tanks, all turned to face the metal seal over the giant ant nest. The plate rattles and shakes, shooting out its bolts as something beats against it from the other side. Finally the cover flies off, soaring over the tanks and crashing into the doors to Outpost X. A faint cloud of dust rises from the hole and something moves in the shadows, but it's not an ant. A giant tentacle rushes out, grabbing one of the tanks and pulling it into the hole with a loud crunch. The other tanks open fire and try to back away, but the ground behind them suddenly shakes and pushes up. An enormous worm slithers out of the hole and wails, shooting out its tongue and pulling another tank into its crushing jaws. The dirt bulge behind the tanks explodes, revealing a second, equally large worm lying in wait. They wipe out the battalion in a matter of seconds, then turn simultaneously to look at the player's monster standing at the top of the canyon.

The player must defeat both Rabdises. Hostile tanks also occupy the level.

Level 6B, Hyudo. A pair of giant reptiles battle in the center of Hyudo, pushing back and forth amid the temples. Rushing forward with arm blades extended, Togera slashes at her opponent's armored back with a spray of sparks. Denedrah growls and sweeps his tail beneath the dinosaur's feet, knocking her over before turning to face her. Both monsters unleash their breath at the same time, locking themselves in a push and shove contest between fire and ice. The elements become unstable and explode, shoving both of them back. Before the battle can resume, the player's monster walks into the city and roars, drawing their ire.

The player must defeat both Togera and Denedrah.

Level 6C, Chernoburg. Oozing through the city, the cyclopean blob Slogg envelops cars and people alike as he heads for his next meal. The polluted river bubbles and steams as he slides into it, unfazed, and begins soaking up the chemicals like a sponge. His bath is interrupted by the sound of giant propeller blades as Colossus enters the city in his flying format and transforms. The wallowing blob belches and settles back in, clearly not interested, before Colossus grabs his head in one oversized hand and throws him across the city. Hitting the side of a building, Slogg splatters, melts into a puddle, and reforms as the player's monster steps back and roars. Fed up with the interruptions, Slogg waves one stretchy arm and bellows in protest.

The player must defeat both Colossus and Slogg.

Level 7A-1, Frozen Sea. The scene opens on a wall of ice as the camera slowly pans down, showing the obscured forms of two prehistoric monsters frozen in combat. The whole area shakes as the sounds of battle gradually become heard from offscreen. A UFO suddenly crashes into the ice, exploding in a ball of fire and smoke that obscures the screen. When it settles, the wall is badly cracked and smeared with green slime. Farther away, the player's monster stamps its foot and roars, swatting away another saucer as it fends off the remnants of an alien fleet. They're interrupted by the sound of monstrous roars and turn to see Teidon and Denedrah rising from their icy tombs.

The player must defeat both Teidon and Denedrah. Hostile UFOs also occupy the level.

Level 7A-2, Evil Island. Birds scatter as something large and powerful roars on the island, drawing the attention of the player controlled monster as it steps onto the beach. Unbeknownst to it, a set of long, slimy tentacles is snaking out of the surf behind it. The monster is suddenly yanked offscreen back into the water, causing a commotion. A moment later they surface farther out from shore, face to face with a giant octopus.

The player must defeat Rachnon (costume 5). After doing so, another cinematic will play showing the player throwing the giant octopus back into the sea. As they wait to see if it will surface again, trees begin to topple behind them, showing something large moving their way. A blur of brown and gray suddenly cuts down the trees as Congar sends Togera flying over the player's head with a powerful windmill punch. He lifts an enormous boulder over his head and hurls it out to sea, but Togera rises and melts it mid-air with her breath. The player's monster looks nervously back and forth, caught in the middle.

The player must defeat both Congar and Togera.

Level 7A-3, Outpost X. Dust, sparks, and falling debris fill the room as a beam of light shines into Outpost X, already in its destroyed state. A pair of monstrous red ants move through the facility, apparently having given up on the old nest in favor of burrowing inside. One knocks over an old Goliath Prime prototype as she joins her sister in drinking radioactive goo from one of the fallen test tubes. Dust falls from the ceiling as something moves on the surface, and a moment later the player's monster is sent careening into the room. A third ant hovers down from the light and all three screech and ready for battle.

The player must defeat three Preytors (costume 2 and weaker than normal). After doing so, a cutscene will play showing the player's monster uppercutting one of the ants into a test tube. The glass shatters and alien goo pours out, revealing a Zorgulon in suspended animation. It's eyes glow as it slowly comes back to life and clacks its claws.

The player must defeat Zorgulon. Additional Preytor ants will spawn endlessly in pairs throughout the rest of the fight.

Level 7B-1, Laethria. Menacing shrieks fill the air as a pair of shadows pass over the beach and the player monster steps into view unnoticed. A pair of Raptros fly by, homing in on a humanoid monster heading their way. The two-headed giant Dualag growls in frustration and throws bolts of magic as he tries to knock the fast moving targets out of the air. A stray blast hits in front of the player's feet and they roar, challenging the whole group.

The player must defeat Dualag and both Raptros (costumes 1 and 2).

Level 7B-2, Nethir Strip. Tourists panic and flee as El Segador lumbers across the dunes, tail raised high. The player's monster steps in from the opposite side, roaring and brandishing a bus. They throw it at the shrieking arachnid, only for them to impale the projectile on their tail and toss it aside. A second monster erupts from the sand behind the player, cornering them between two sets of menacing claws.

The player must defeat both Segadors (costumes 1 and 2). Hostile jets and tanks also occupy the level.

Level 7B-3, Planet X. A UFO descends from the clouds as Xorvus and the player's monster clash below in Midtown Park. The alien vessel speaks in a computerized, alien language and the scene cuts briefly to a group of Zorgulon aliens pulling levels and monitoring screens. The UFO stops above the fighting monsters and projects a green beam of light that seemingly dissolves them; moments later on the distant Planet X, an identical beam shoots up from a platform and materializes them. Xorvus and the player controlled monster stagger away from each other and the camera zooms out to reveal a ruined Zorgulon city and a pair of screeching alien monsters.

The player must defeat Xorvus, Zorgulon (costume 4), and Vegon II (costume 5). Hostile UFOs also occupy the level. Once the fight is complete, a cutscene will play showing the teleportation pad activating again and sending the player controlled monster back to Midtown Park. Xorvus shakes himself off and shrieks as the Zorgulon aliens cower in their control room and are crushed underfoot.

Level 7C-1, Frozen Sea. Snow blows across the plain as the sound of punches can be heard and the player's monster is sent flying from offscreen. Skidding across the ice, they pass by Valtoth, who's busy suppressing Medulla with his freezing beam. He turns his attention to the player and they exchange roars before a fourth combatant, a hulking sabertooth cat, leaps into the fray and cracks the ice. Medulla bursts free from her frozen restrains and chaos ensues.

The player must defeat Valtoth (costume 3), Medulla (costume 3), and Ulfric (costume 3). Ulfric is permanently in his beast form for the duration of the fight.

Level 7C-2, Atomic Island. Thorny tendrils climb slowly up the central reactor of Atomic Island before three familiar looking heads rise up and snap at the screen. An enemy throws a chunk of debris from offscreen and hits Vegon II in one of her mouths, sending her reeling back as Morcogg steps into frame. The two trade blows and push back and forth, jealously vying for control of the reactor. The roar of the player's monster interrupts them as they jump down into the pit and pose.

The player must defeat both Morcogg and Vegon II.

Level 7C-3, Mothership. A UFO descends from the clouds as Xorvus and the player's monster clash below in Midtown Park. It speaks in a computerized, alien language before the scene cuts briefly to a shadowy, visor-eyed figure pressing a button. The UFO stops above the fighting monsters and projects a green beam of light that seemingly dissolves them; moments later on the Zorgulon Mothership, an identical beam shoots up from the center of the main chamber and materializes them. Xorvus and the player controlled monster stagger away from each other and the camera zooms out to reveal an alien city around them.

The player must defeat Xorvus. Hostile UFOs also occupy the level. Once Xorvus has been defeated, a cutscene will play showing all of the flying saucers being destroyed by energy bolts. Standing in front of their downed opponent, the player monster turns around and sees Kyuma, who poses dramatically and projects an army of laughing clones. The player must defeat him next, and the fight will begin with his special attack already in effect. Once the fight is complete, a cutscene will play showing the teleportation pad activating again and sending the player controlled monster back to Midtown Park. Kyuma holds his head in his hand and struggles to stand as a group of UFOs and angry looking Zorgulons surround him.

FINAL BOSS: THE LAST STAND! Tired and irate, the player's monster staggers into a desolate, rocky area as the sun sets. An enemy monster (random, default costumes only) enters the area and roars, challenging the beast to one final showdown. The player must defeat this opponent one-on-one without any weapons or powerups. After the fight is over, a cutscene will play showing the enemy being thrown against a cliff face, which crumbles away to reveal a mysterious corridor. The player enters, heading into the true final boss fight of the game.

All you were missing were some movie posters for each level. Still pretty badass.
