KotM3: Zhurloth

Bio: Though a legendary monster by his own right, Zhurloth did not make his presence known until the second Donavere invasion in 2799.
Known to most as "Dread Zhurloth, Pincher of Life", he is said to be a primordial god of chaos and destruction. Ancient texts uncovered from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean claim that he is nothing but pure evil, and is destined to wipe out the entire human race.
However, centuries of ocean pollution have taken their toll on Zhurloth's mind. Afflicted by chemical-induced amnesia, he has forgotten his evil destiny and delusionally believes himself to be an Earth Defender. Zhurloth goes out of his way to be heroic and protect mankind, though he is still prone to the occassional fit of maniacal laughter/gurgling. He has been accepted by the other super-monsters and works well with them, except for Mega Geon, who gets hungry a lot...

Powers and Abilities:

*Zhurloth's armored shell is tougher than steel, making him extremely resiliant.

*Zhurloth can stay underwater indefinitely, without need to hibernate or surface for air.

*Armed with crushing pinchers and whalloping claws, Zhurloth can easily overwhelm other monsters in hand-to-hand combat.

*Zhurloth can use his pinchers like cannons, firing blue energy blasts from them.

*By charging an energy ball and crushing it in his pincher, Zhurloth can create a destructive shockwave to repell nearby foes.

*Zhurloth can spit green, ink-like globs which cause foes to lose their sense of direction and move in random directions while suffering from confusing hallucinations.
